Peaceful Moments Never Last

Older drawing from a few months ago, back when two of my friends and I started writing a private fanfic together. The chick is my OC in the story, Aurora. I won't bore you with all of the backstory, unless you're just that interested, but she was a good friend of Orion Pax way back when, and has secretly been pining for him ever since. During the War, Aurora and her two companions were forced to leave Cybertron for something like ten years before crash-landing on Earth and discovering--ta DAAAH--Optimus Prime wasn't actually dead, like they'd thought. Eventually, the two rekindle their former friendship and begin courting, a process made awkward by the fact that Aurora's best friend can't stand the guy...and that neither of them has the first idea what they're doing.

I don't usually upload OC stuff a lot, because I know it tends to annoy some people, but I do if I feel like it was some of my better work. I'm slowly getting better at anatomy, I think, but Optimus's head and hands always throw me for a loop.

Of course, after the season finale, I keep looking through all of the various Optimus-related scratchings in my sketchbook and...well...not being happy.
